The last 4-5 days have been very weird in terms of weather. At one moment it looks like we'll have a cloudburst but it does not come and then clears up to beautiful blue sky. It has also been very cool and windy. Usually the winds spook our cat into hanging around the house. But as you can see by the following two pictures she decided to climb the "house" in the back yard.

On Monday for the first time since moving here we had a deer in our backyard. As you can see it ventured just behind the house. It hung out there for about half and hour and then ambled off into our neighbor's yard.
We thought we had missed the oriole this year but it also decided to show up on Monday and again today. We also had hummingbirds show up this week but have no photos yet.
