Grand Daughters and Funny Weather

Our three older grand-daughters Maria, Carmen and Isabel joined us in Traverse City on their spring break. We met them halfway at Birch Run on April 5. The entire month before that was beautiful weather. It was cool when we picked them up. But the weather turned rainy and cold.

But we still had a great time. We ate out everyday. Big Boy in Birch Run on Monday, Ruby Tuesday on Tuesday in TC, Garfield's at the TC Mall on Wednesday, Fazolis on Thursday and Don's Drive-In on Friday. We watched movies at home and went to the theater to see "How to Train Your Dragon." We highly recommend it. We went to the Grand Traverse Resort everyday to swim and a couple days played on the tennis courts (it was hilarious).

We introduced the girls to "Minute to Win It" on TV. They thought it was funny. We played monopoly. We had a great time and Mom and Dad Denja with the boys Mikey and Petey join us tonight for the rest of the weekend. We're so lucky to see the kids and that they still like to visit grandma and grandpa.

Friday, April 2. No kids yet.

Friday, April 9. Snow for a couple days!

Big time Monopoly. Carmen was a big winner.

Isabel practiced for her jump rope contest when she gets home.

The love Rosco the Cat.

Carmen enjoys the water at the Resort.

Maria likes it, too.
