Great Grandma Alice, Home Progress and Relaxin'

Mom/Grandma/Greatgrandma Alice flew down November 8 for a month long visit with us. We wanted to get her out of the blah Michigan November and enjoy some warmer weather and more sunshine. We have day trips planned for each week and have taken the first two trips. The first was to Aiken and the second was around Lake Murray and to the Dreher Island State Park. The state park looks very promising for future family gatherings.

The home is pretty much together now with some purchases in our bargain hunting efforts.

Here are some photos of the first week of Mom's visit.

New carpet intended to pick up the accent red in the living room along with the bargain barn coffee table/footrest.

Mom's first morning with us.

Masons get to visit us often and we enjoy the grandchildren/great-grandchildren.

Maeve, Rose and Grandma Alice at Libby's in Lexington. A nice spot with good food.

Riverbanks Zoo for a walk and enjoying the fair weather.

Avery and Grandpa Bob.

Kendall and Grandma Rose.

"Milk that cow!"
Kendall decided it was a cool spot to sit on Grandma Alice's walker.

Kendall's treat from Aaron and Maeve's weekend in Savannah for Maeve's birthday.

Grandma still thinks its cold.
