OK, it's been quite awhile since we blogged. Just not a lot happening with us! After returning from Michigan and the Christmas visits we had a beautiful first week of January with lots of sun and warm temps. Then, both of us got miserable colds with sinus and respiratory issues that lasted two full weeks. But, we healed up and our great friends, the Coakleys, drove up from Florida and visited us for a couple days. So great to see them!
This last week of January began with the clearing and grading of the lot next to us for a house to be built. We think it is a spec house. Will watch and see what happens.

Pat and Katie Coakley with us at the Farmer's Shed just west of Lexington, SC. It's been featured on the tv show "Diners, Driveins and Dives." Great home cooked food!
The clearing begins on the lot next to us. Should be fun to watch the construction and hope the noise is not too annoying. Also, maybe we can use some of the scraps for our projects!
