Polish Fest and Kensington Park

Rose and I decided to check out another Polish festival and, most importantly, its food.  Went to Sterling Heights, hometown of future son-in-law Mike H, to check out the American Polish Century Club.  Went to mass then checked out the food and festival after.

The following Monday the Denjas joined us for a trip to Kensington Metropark.  LeighAnne is on a four day work week for the summer with Monday her day off.  We tried out the paddle boats, kayaks and the beach.  Check out the Denja Blog for more pics of the day.

Small crowd early at the Polish festival.  Glad we got there early and the people were pouring in when we left and the pavement was heating up.

We shared a plate of Gołąbki, sausage and kraut, pierogi, city chicken and mashed potatoes.  Good food but we recommend St. Florian's in Hamtramck more.

A grand time on the paddle boat at Kensington.

 Scary!

Chillin' with a movie after the park
