The Denja family visited this past Thursday through Sunday to help celebrate Rose's birthday. Everyone had a great time. Rose spent her birthday night with the little girls at the Resort and they all went swimming in the morning. (Rose had a complimentary night's stay as an employee that had to be used by the end of the week).
The Denjas brought a gift for Grandma Rose of a statue for the garden.
Now, the alien part. At church on Sunday LeighAnne noticed some "bugs" on the girls's hair. After getting home and substantiating we confirmed an attack of head lice! Whoo hoo, tis the season. Mamma Leigh pretty much freaked out. Bob and Mike went to K-Mart and picked up the hair treatment and the Denja family return trip to Plymouth was delayed a few hours while we applied hair treatment, washed the hair and combed out the nits. Who says we are not a bunch of nit-pickers?
Ah well, another right of passage.
Grandma Rose always prepares a travel bag for the kids for their trip home. It has become an expected treat that the kids ask about each time. Here they are ready to leave. Do the kids come to visit so they can just get the bags?
Grandpa Bob printed off a bunch of information about head lice and treatment for LeighAnne to read. This picture speaks volumes about her state of mind!
