We are getting ready for the winter season and holidays by practicing. Rose made the sugar dough, rolled the dough and cut out the cookies. Bob helped a bit and did some decorating. We'll take a bunch of sugar cookies down to Great-Grandma Alice and take some more to Grandma Paula and Grandpa Raul. Rose has to work on Thanksgiving so Bob is going to Sturgis to pick up Grandma Alice and then go to Plymouth and Bloomfield for Thanksgiving dinner with the Denjas.
We got a small taste of winter on a couple different days. This is the third snow that stuck long enough to show on the ground and the deck in the second week of November. Bob had better get to work and get the deck chairs put away!
