Bob, Rose, Grandma Alice spent a wonderful Christmas week in Sedona with daughter LeighAnne, her hubby Mike and their children Maria, Carmen, Isabel and Mikey along with daughter Erin and youngest daughter Maeve and hubby Aaron.
Sunshine! Glorius sunshine was the key factor (besides family of course!) even with cool temps our spirits were lifted with mostly sunny skies.
All arrived in Sedona, the middle of red rock country, on Saturday, December 22 and we left December 29. In between we laughed, talked, cried a bit, visited the Grand Canyon, watched sunrises and sunsets and many other things. A drive up Oak Creek to Flagstaff left some a bit ill with the twists and turns of the road. Hiking was a great brief pasttime on a few days. We visited the old mining town of Jerome, now an historical site. The kiddies swam, played in the game room, saw a magic show and hit the hot tub. Meteor crater was a big hit for those who chose to make the drive.
Food and drink was plentiful and we all gained weight. Shopping, of course, was a featured event, too. But mostly it was being with family and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Grandma Alice gave her three granddaughters a wonderful gift that brought tears and smiles of disbelief.
Grandma Alice enjoys the fun!
