Last Two Days of August

The last two days of August at Grandma/Grandpa Redmond's were full, fun and hot!

Of course we had to go to the pool again at the Resort

We had popcorn at night
The girls did some dress-up and practiced walking in high heels

Mikey REALLY, REALLY likes to watch Thomas the Train movies!

Mike and Bob went geocaching again. Boy, this sure looked like a good spot!

Mike and Bob visited the Yuba International Airport but the flights were light

We scared up a pair of sandhill cranes and listened to them cackle as they flew away.

Sunday we decided to go through a corn maze...it got up to 90 degrees...were we dumb or what?

This is the map of the maze. It really is cut just like this with 3 different routes that varied from 4/10ths of a mile to 2.4 miles.

Whew! We finally made it out of the two mile maze. It was the "barn" portion of the maze in the map shown above. We took one wrong turn but made it back and finished the route with all of our "punches" at the 6 way stations on this maze.
