Rose the Crafty Person

Rose has so many skills! Not only did she do a great job as Mom and Wife, chief cook and bottle washer, quilt maker, preschool teacher, retail diva and gifted basket maker she also makes braided rugs. Here are some photos of the various stages. Finished project will be posted later.

The necessary tools to cut the strips of material.

Colored strips hang wating to be braided. Some finished braided strips are on the floor. This project is a strait piece rug, not the oval that she has made before.

The process is laborious and time-consuming.

The material strips have to flow through these little "cones" to bend the strips under into tube shaped forms and she braids them on their way out of the cones.
