Southern Trip...Segment Three

We had mostly rain and cool weather when we got back to Maeve's house in South Carolina but did get one nice day to do some work in the back yard. One other night Maeve and Aaron got to go out with friends while we babyset. The weekend before St. Patrick's Day we had visitors stay with us. Brooks was a teacher friend with Aaron who moved to Greenville. Brooks and friend Brandi visited with the hopes of all going to the weekend St. Pat's celebration but rain foiled that. Instead we played games most of the weekend and laughed a lot.
On St. Patrick's Day we did all go out for dinner and a celebration drink for our last night visiting. It was a great time and we enjoyed our time with Maeve, Aaron and Kendall. We head back to Michigan tomorrow, Wednesday, with Maeve and Kendall who will get to visit great-grandparents, the Denjas in Plymouth and other friends. Happy St. Patrick's Day indeed!!

"How do I split this plant?" wondered Maeve.

Rose prepares the flower box on the garage in the backyard while Maeve finishes planting.

Kendall dressed up for our babysitting night.
DeShawn is just a month older than Kendall and was our other cutie that we babyset for while parents got a night out.

"Celebrities" was a game that we learned from the Coakleys while we stayed in Florida. We took the game to the Masons in SC. Aaron really got into the the game!

Friend Brooks thinks about his one-word clue in the second round of "Celebrities."

Grandma Rose really got into electronic Yahtzee. Grandpa Bob made mimosas for a special morning treat.

It looks like Kendall has a lot of love all about her!

Bob made himself some green eggs, but no ham, for St. Patrick's Day. No one else seemed to want their own serving of this delicious looking breakfast.

Ain't she cute?

St. Patrick's Day dinner out and our last evening in Lexington, SC with Maeve and Aaron.

The sweat shirts say "Grandfather" and "Grandmother" in Gaelic. We love our newest grandchild, Kendall, and she seems pretty comfortable with us.
