We went for a nice walk yesterday, June 4, in what we now call our "private park." The golf course behind our house appears to not be in operation this summer. It was billed a few years ago as an exclusive, private course but the hard economic times changed all that. We watched for our first few years up here as they cared for the course and made it into a very beautiful and well manicured course. But, last year it was operated by another party and did not get much play. This year it appears that it will not operate at all and two years of little attention have dramatically changed the quality.
However, we can now walk on it without anyone being around and it is still a beautiful view. We can even walk to East Grand Traverse Bay and enjoy the view!

I meant to ask about that place when we were there last month. I am glad you are able to get to use it again.
