Thanksgiving Practice, Baskets, Beautiful Day

We had a turkey in the freezer for some time and thought we better use it before it got totally frost burned. So on Thursday we had a turkey dinner...sort of practice for the real Thanksgiving at Maeve and Aaron's with Erin, Kendall and their friends.

Rose was also busy making baskets. Here is one in the early stages. She is quite good at this and can turn one out in a few hours.

This basket was a bit tricky as the look on her face seems to indicate.

Two large baskets completed and ready for the staining process.

Sunday was a gorgeous day. Pretty nice to have 70 deg in northern Michigan on November 8!

We worked hard on Sunday. We painted the office and moved all the furniture back in, moved a tree, transplanted a few mums, planted some bulbs for the spring, moved the internet service line, moved some deck furniture inside and Bob even got a little Harley ride in for the day. We were pooped and so enjoyed a beverage on the deck while the sun was still warm.
