The first week of March in northern Michigan has been beautiful! Rose got out cross country skiing, snowshoeing and walking. Poor Bob had to work all week but finally got out to walk, too. We got lots of natural vitamin D. Rose also decided we needed to bake sugar cookies for St. Patrick's Day and send to the kids. The good weather kind of spurred us on to get things done...cleaned the house, washed and swept out the cars, cleaned the garage, went for walks, fixed a closet door, did a lot of outdoor grilling and generally just enjoyed the sunshine!

East Grand Traverse Bay on a beautiful March day.

Booger loves to invade Rose's space when she reads. Even Rose's harassment of the cat could not chase her away.

Yup, it was warm enough to sit on the deck and have a drink...not for long...but it was great.

Some folks shoveled off a bare spot on the pond in our "private park."

Good stuff to go to the kids.

Another nice walk and headin' down the road.

"Come on Bob, get moving!"

Life is just great.

Early signs of spring...but too early as we know more snow is bound to fall but it does give hope.
