Denja Girls in South Carolina

We flew from Detroit to Columbia with the three Denja girls Maria, Carmen and Isabel to spend almost two weeks with grand-daughter/cousin Kendall. Mommy Maeve and Daddy Aaron are going to Maine for a week from Saturday to Friday to hike, bike, kayak and sightsee with Aaron's parents and Aunts and their families.
It is hot, hot, hot with heat index over 100 but we are entertaining ourselves anyway. A few shots follow but first...see above. Uncle Aaron is outfitting his "man garage" and the first big addition after the remodel job is a Rockola Jukebox vintage 1980's. It will be load of fun for them and when they tell all the visitors that it takes a quarter a song they can start Kendall's college fund (and just found out new baby sister due in October!!).

Kendall goes to daycare in August so she is practicing on the nap mat with Daddy.

Kendall tries out the nap mat while everyone watches movies on the big flat screen TV.

Carmen loves spending time with Kendall.

We brought some Smurfs down from Michigan!

We went bowling. Great form Maria!

Isabel tries for a strike.

Kendall loves to have stories read to her by her cousin Maria.

We watched lots of movies to stay out of the heat.

We went swimming at Lake Murray. We plan to go again with all the heat!!!

Look! We went all the way to the deep part!

We practice stylin'!
