October Visits, Pets, Friends and Sights

Booger the cat literally nosed her way into the arm hole of a project Rose was working on.

Bob and Dennis were able to get together for a visit to Mom Alice in Sturgis. While there we had a nice visit and then dinner out with Aunt Donna and her friend Larry pictured above.

The fall colors are pretty much gone and they were not particularly good this year. However, the maple tree that we purchased in Dad's memory with memorial gift from the Coakley clan shows it's brilliance here. Dad would have loved the tree and its color.

We took a nice walk in our 'private park' in back. Now that the leaves are down we discovered that a pair of eagles built a nest in the group of trees just a few hundred yards behind our house. The eagles did not want to stay around for a photo but we'll be sure to catch them sometime!

This weekend some old friends from Harbor Beach, John and Juli Mausolf, visited the Great Wolf Lodge in TC. We were able to catch up with them at the lodge and had a great visit. Juli and Rose watch as some photos are taken.

The Mausolf clan works to get some photos of the kids/grandkids.

Finally...success! All of the kids made it together and we were able to remove several small onlookers who wanted to join in. It was great to see everyone!
