We ended February and began March with our commitment to become more fit and lose a little weight. Rose is on a team from the retail division at the GT Resort and they get to use the fitness facilities at the Resort and some advice from a trainer. Bob gets to tag along.
We all had fun in the water at the Resort
The hot tub was a favorite spot in between the cool pool.
Isabel was not so sure at times.
Carmen and Mommy got going pretty fast down the hill.
Is Maria aiming for Mikey? Mommy was there to save the day.
Grandma Rose got into the sledding action
A great slippery spot at the sledding sight was fun for all. Grandpa Bob was spinning the girls on a disk sled and Mommy and Daddy tried it out with Mikey without the sled! Well, maybe not but he did have a great slide.
Daddy Mike and Grandpa Bob went snowshoeing on East Grand Traverse Bay. We found a geocache at Petabego Pond just off the bay. It was a beautiful time with the sunshine coming out just while we were out there.
Whew! Mikey, did you do that whole path?
We had lots of snow but not good for packing. But, we found a way to build a snowman anyway!
Grandma Rose helped Maria, Isabel and Carmen make a cool patchwork quilt. They picked out the squares and arranged them for their own special quilt while Grandma stitched and sewed.
We all visited the Losinski clan in Bronson at Mike and Robin's house. Thanks for their great hospitality. Next time, Robin, you need to take better care of Bob!
Nephew Mark enjoys the evening with youngest Seth
Every now and then during a long night of Tonk we throw in a hand of poker showdown. It was late and Aunt Mary was not feeling so well. You should have seen her a few minutes later on the back porch!
Seth says, "Cheese" while Kaylee looks on
Tyler won an early hand of Tonk with three tens. Think he's happy? Uncle Tom had to drown his loss.
