After Grandma Alice had a two-day trip to Mackinaw Island we picked her up there and she stayed in Traverse City with us for 5 days. Bob took her home to Sturgis on Sunday. Geraniums had been ordered from the Garden Club and were waiting when we arrived. Bob planted the geraniums. Over Mother's Day weekend Dennis and Joan visited Grandma and did a lot of planting. They put in the rose bush she purchased the week before and several annual flowers in pots in front and back. While frost did some damage to the annuals it looks like they might survive.
