More March with Great Grandma...and More

It's been another good visit with Great Grandma Alice in Lexington SC. We tried to get her out everyday doing something. Her two great-grandchildren down here got to visit her often and she enjoyed seeing them 'do their thing.'

Banagrams and margaritas made for a fun afternoon.

Avery thought she was hot stuff sitting on the window ledge.

Kendall examines the finer points of painting.

Resting the morning after the margaritas.

We made our second visit to Pearl Fryar's home and personal topiary garden. Grandma could easily get around with her walker and marveled at the amount of work and artistry.

Bob could only wish he could do stuff like this.

Taking a break on a beautiful SC afternoon.

A majesty palm planted in hopes of sprucing up the side of the house.

Camellia in the corner outside the kitchen window. Hope it does well and we can enjoy the blooms.

A neighbor gave us some Mexican petunias from his yard. We removed the wood chips, planted and will mulch with pine straw. These plants have a beautiful purple-blue flower that lasts a long time. Hope these make it, too.
