Well, after three full summers of the wild flower meadow it was time for the cleansing burn. So, yesterday the wind was in the right direction and we had gotten rain a few days ago so it was safe to try. Here is the current ugly look. Time will tell if it was the best thing to do but all the books I read say that it was the correct thing to do. I'll post some other photos to this later that shows the different look over the years.
